How to enable webcam on an hp computer?

i have a G72-B54NR HP notebook running on windows 7 and the default startup for the webcam is nowhere to be found. if i search for it at my start menu nothing shows up. someone mentioned that i have to have a disc to install this can anyone confirm or deny this? or know what it is that i have to do?
