My PS3 can't find my IP address?

It has never done this before, but about a week ago it wouldn't let me sign in. and it would give me the message "Search for IP address timed out" (or something like that). So I test the internet connection from the PS3. It still can't locate the IP address. I go into the network setup and do the easy setup, put in the WPA code, save the settings (which haven't even been changed), test the connection still can't find the IP (which I was expecting). Go to set up network again, this time choosing Manual setup. Put in the WPA again and choose manual for IP address. Put in the IP address and all the other info. Then for all the other things I just choose automatic (or whatever the default option is) save the settings. Test the connection again, still can't connect to the internet (although it does seem to find the IP address at this point). Set up a network connection AGAIN. this time choosing easy again, put in the WPA code, save settings, test internet connection and it works. and I am able to sign in and everything. But here's the problem, every time I turn my PS3 off and then turn it on again it won't let me sign in again. and I have to do that whole process with the internet connections again (first setting it up manually, having it fail, then doing the easy setup). It works fine after I do that. Can someone tell me how to fix it, so I don't have to go through the internet connection thing everytime? or at least explain why it's happening?

Offer retracted after credit report, what can be done?

My husband was contacted by a company based off his resume on a job website. He is an IT engineer. Before starting the interview process he was told they would do a credit check, my husband told him he had bad credit, the recruiter told him it was fine. 4 interviews later he was given a job offer. They liked him so much they offered him 10,000 more than the jobs base pay. The next day FedEx dropped off a new hire packet, with pay and benefit package, and a start date. My husband put in his notice and today week before start date, was told they were retracting the offer due to his credit. They said if he could prove he is in repayment with the defaults then they may still consider him, which we are in repayment, so he can give proof. Is there anything else we can do? We have been dealt some seriously bad cards the last few years, and our credit reflects that.. but it seems so wrong for a job offer to retracted for credit, especially for someone who is working on servers. He is a hard worker, and credit score does not reflect his ability to do work. Our plan was to get debt free by this time next year with his new job salary.

You also have to keep in mind that this is most of those kids first jobs and in reality they don't know how to act. High School is totally different from the real world and it definitely takes some guidance from others to help them out. If they get offended explain to them that you are only trying to get the best out of them, you want them to shine infront of the people higher in charge. You are going to definitely use small words, and don't make it intimidating for them, maybe ask one of them to shadow you on a task, and just sorta throw it withing your conversation. It really doesn't matter what you major in at the community college or even if you get an associates degree or any other kind of certificate from there if your main objective is to eventually transfer and major in Computer Science at a university. And since it's most often the title of the bachelors degree program, the community college will most likely not have a program called Computer Science. The main point of community college if you plan on going into computer science at a university is to just get all of the classes done that you can that will actually transfer over as credit in your computer science program at the university. To figure that out you need to meet with an advisor. Most of the time you can complete all of your lower division credit hours (around 60 total).

Macbook Pro and Iphone Dilema?

Ok so I have the iphone 3GS, at the time I was running on the Original operating system that it was sold with, I eventually found a app I wanted called Ocarina, that needed the newest version software update. I have had no prior updating experience whatsoever, I clicked update, and it told me I need to back up my information, so I went to the sync button on transferred all of my content onto my computer, then additionally it told me again that I needed to transfer the content over again which I did, then to be sure I clicked the sync button again and nothing happened, just to make sure all of my content, phone number, music, apps, all transferred over to the computer. As I clicked update It began to update and said it was going to back my files up by transferring my files from my Iphone to the computer. After the update finished I installed the game, there were many problems with the update, for example, the speaker would not work for any of my music nor pandora, the volume indicator told me there was no volume input, also my phone was popping a message that said unsupported device even though I had not device plugged in, the phone would not operate efficiently, after finally getting tired of all my function spazzing I decided to restore to the default setting because the problem kept on persisting. I again backed up my files and restored my setting to my computer. When I went back to sync my setting back to my phone, most of my information was gone, all that was left was my apps that I payed for. All of my paid music and contacts have vanished. I am not understanding why It told me to backup the files, as I did, and come back and the files were not even saved. I spent an hour or so just waiting for the transfer to finish. I am a little frustrated I had some important information on some of the files that I needed and my computer told me it was there so it seemed. I would love some information on some fellow owners of people who may know about this or whom have experienced this.

Your absolutely right. It seems we live in an age where fine arts are being neglected by people in general. I love classical music and going to the orchestra. I'm also a piano teacher. One thing that may be a factor is the bad state of the economy. Many people just don't have the extra funds to go to see orchestra concerts. Also, I think people today have less sophisticated taste in music than they did even 20-50 years ago. Sad to say many would rather go see that stupid Bieber kid than listen to real music from an orchestra. In some cities there are volunteer orchestras and free concerts. So, that may be an option for some people. I live in Houston and thankfully we have pretty good support for the symphony and fine arts in our city. Along with that we have two major universities that form an enclave for support in classical music and the arts. Such as the University of Houston Moores school of music and the Rice University music department. I think the only thing we can do is try to help people be more aware of the joy and glory of classical music and the symphony. Creating more interest in orchestras and their decline may help to save them. Thanks for your post.

I just got my fin aid letter from my school (I am a senior), and it shows that I am not getting a pell grant, which means I will also not get my smart grant! I also lost the Rober Byrd Scholarship as the funding was cut. My brother graduated college, and it looks like my parents earned a little more money last year, and I'm guessing that's the reason, but I haven't been notified why by the fed govt. Both of my parents work (my mom's is stable, my dad's is on and off), and both work at second part time jobs. I work during the school year, and am having a hard time finding any kind of job this summer. I live in a distressed area in Ohio, and go to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. The only reason I was able to attend there is because I got scholarships, grants, and loans which barely cover my costs. I have been so grateful for that! This year my dad took on a part time job delivering court summons to help pay his debts, and the expenses from this job (especially gasoline) made the job not worth it, as he found out at the end of the year. My parents are paying their way out of a bankruptcy, and will be done with that in January. They have no equity at all in our home, and are underwater on the mortgage. They do not want to default on the mortgage (it is a small very modest house), and are really really struggling to meet expenses. They have student loans for their three children, and are not in default on those. Is there anything I can do to talk to someone in the federal government about this? I don't know how to contact anyone about this. I am terrified that I won't be able to complete my senior year. My parents are beside themselves as well. We know none of us can get a loan for $19,000. If you know what I should do, please help!

Basically, I downloaded a new theme about a month ago, and I forgot to backup the original files in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes, and I now can't not use the theme I downloaded. Ok so I have the iphone 3GS, at the time I was running on the Original operating system that it was sold with, I eventually found a app I wanted called Ocarina, that needed the newest version software update. As I clicked update It began to update and said it was going to back my files up by transferring my files from my Iphone to the computer. After the update finished I installed the game, there were many problems with the update, for example, the speaker would not work for any of my music nor pandora, the volume indicator told me there was no volume input, also my phone was popping a message that said unsupported device even though I had not device plugged in, the phone would not operate efficiently, after finally getting tired of all my function spazzing I decided to restore to the default setting because the problem kept on persisting. I again backed up my files and restored my setting to my computer. When I went back to sync my setting back to my phone, most of my information was gone, all that was left was my apps that I payed for. All of my paid music and contacts have vanished. I am not understanding why It told me to backup the files, as I did, and come back and the files were not even saved. I spent an hour or so just waiting for the transfer to finish. I am a little frustrated I had some important information on some of the files that I needed and my computer told me it was there so it seemed. I lost my friends in a club last night and by the end of the night I was alone, and so a bouncer I had befriended offered to help look for them. I subsequently found a woman to walk me to the nearest bus stop. I don't know what would have come of me staying in his car and wouldn't want to make any false assumptions or allegations, but at the same time i'm not entirely sure if what happened was appropriate or legitimate, being in the vulnerable position that i was. the cards idle temp should be around 25oc (degrees Celsius) in general it is a fantastic card... its comfortable operating temp is around 55oc no more than 60oc. people have clocked the card to 875mhz at a push with two fans installed on the graphics card. I wouldn't recommend this as it will stress your card. 840 to 850Mhz is a comfortable overclock for your card remembering not to exceed 60-65oc :)

How to get audio through HDMI?

I've been trying to get sound through my tv whenever I hook it up with HDMI, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. First all, the sound seems to evidently come from the laptop, which I'm positive is not supposed to happen. Second of all, the sound shuts off every time I go to a new window. Ok so I have the iphone 3GS, at the time I was running on the Original operating system that it was sold with, I eventually found a app I wanted called Ocarina, that needed the newest version software update. I have had no prior updating experience whatsoever, I clicked update, and it told me I need to back up my information, so I went to the sync button on transferred all of my content onto my computer, then additionally it told me again that I needed to transfer the content over again which I did, then to be sure I clicked the sync button again and nothing happened, just to make sure all of my content, phone number, music, apps, all transferred over to the computer. As I clicked update It began to update and said it was going to back my files up by transferring my files from my Iphone to the computer. After the update finished I installed the game, there were many problems with the update, for example, the speaker would not work for any of my music nor pandora, the volume indicator told me there was no volume input, also my phone was popping a message that said unsupported device even though I had not device plugged in, the phone would not operate efficiently, after finally getting tired of all my function spazzing I decided to restore to the default setting because the problem kept on persisting. I again backed up my files and restored my setting to my computer. When I went back to sync my setting back to my phone, most of my information was gone, all that was left was my apps that I payed for. All of my paid music and contacts have vanished. I am not understanding why It told me to backup the files, as I did, and come back and the files were not even saved. I spent an hour or so just waiting for the transfer to finish. I am a little frustrated I had some important information on some of the files that I needed and my computer told me it was there so it seemed. I would love some information on some fellow owners of people who may know about this or whom have experienced this.

IE randomly opens - brand new computer?

I got a new Toshiba Satellite C660 laptop this afternoon. One of the first things I did with my new computer is install Google Chrome, so that is the only thing ie has been used for. I also changed google chrome to my default browser. But now every 20 minutes or so IE just opens up ninemsn for no apparent reason. At first I thought there must be some default keyboard shortcut that automatically opens IE, but since it opened after I had not even touched the computer for a few minutes it seems to be just opening by itself. Surely it can't be a virus, so far I've only been on Google, Yahoo, Facebook, youtube, eBay, The local newspaper site, and my Uni's site, all of which are reasonably secure sites. I've had this computer for only 6 hours, it's unlikely it already has malware on it. Any suggestions to stop IE doing this?

Lost video icons but videos still play.?

I've been scratching my head for nearly 2 hours now, I got a virus which disabled my anti virus and started deleting all my files until i was left with a blank screen, I rebooted my PC into Safe mode and did a system restore and it returned most of my icons. However, When I browse My Computer and have a look for my films i cant seen to find them anywhere, Ive booted up media player and all my films are still there and playable, a few more of the files are the same, I recently saved a file in photoshop, couldn't find it where i saved it too, then i open photoshop clicked on recent files and it was there in the drop down list and i could open it! So im just missing the shortcuts/icons, I presume that my registry has been loaded (through System Restore) to default, So i tried a different restore point and that didn't work either. I thought i had backed up my registry with CCleaner but i couldn't find that either. Help! I've run out of ideas!!

NAT settings, Xbox Live?

I'm using and WNDR3300 router, and a Windows Vista OS (awful, I know, wasn't my choice). My NAT settings are apparently "moderate". I've tried opening the Upnp settings, opening the NAT filter, and using a DMZ. I access Xbox Live via using my computer as a gateway, which has a wireless adapter in it, connecting to the router downstairs. I can't use port forwarding because my xbox IP has a zero near end (192.168.0.x) rather than a one (192.168.1.x). It has the first three numbers (in the port forwarding router settings) set by default, only allowing me to change the last digits only (where the .x is). Any time I try to change IP addresses on the LAN and/or Xbox so it has a standard IP (192.168.1.1 or 2), it disables the entire internet connection. I've also tried changing my upnp hop settings, etc. to respond to connections faster to no avail. Help would be appreciated!

This deck is combining all the best fairy cards together but the strategy just wont work out. I never liked fusion cards so st. joan should get out. most of these cards barely correspond with each other actually and i would suggest sticking to the forty card minimal only because it may bring out your strategy A LOT easier. I run Herald of Perfection in my deck and i suggest this card to every fairy user as well as archlord Krystia but that card costs like seventy bucks so yeah /: Your deck needs to find its strategy before it works well. But i always say that if you want to keep your fav cards in there, go for it!

My nightmare i want interpreted Part Two *continued in part three*?

I immediately stop when she does, not wanting to get close enough to scare her more that she already seems. She turns around to face me. And, when I see her face, now full of all her emotions, my heart shatters. The look on her face shows, more than her eyes did, her heavy feelings inside her. Why have you stopped? she thought into my mind. It kept echoing and echoing in my head. Over and over again, her heart wrenching voice pounds through my head and makes my heart, unbelievably shatter into dust. Not able to take any more, I close my eyes to try to clear my mind. I open my eyes and the little girl is no longer there. I’m in a substantially small white room. It’s as white as the White Nothing, and it hurts my eyes. Since I’m claustrophobic, I start to panic as a response to being in such a small area. I look up and see the black ooze. It’s seeping down the walls from the ceiling, where the walls and ceiling meet. It’s flowing out faster that the shiny black ooze should’ve, resulting in the room filling up a lot faster than I thought. I look for ways out. But there aren’t any. No doors. No window. No openings of any kind. No escape. I try my hardest to keep my head above the surface of the ooze. But I ultimately fail because the ooze is too thick too move through. I get sucked down into the ooze.But it looks and seems like I’m underwater. My hair floats around me, black in the dark waters. Though I can still breathe and water doesn‘t go into my mouth or nose when I do. It looks like I’m underwater in a black ocean. It feels so peaceful, serene, and… safe. Oh God. I just wanna be safe, oh so ever badly. I thought. I relax. And again, for the second time, I let my guard down, and it’s a huge mistake. Suddenly, as I go to take another breath, water gets sucked into my mouth. I immediately stop sucking in and hold my breath. My head starts to pound and throb with pain. It feels like someone’s taking a jackhammer to my skull. But I forget all about the pain in my head, because my chest starts screaming at me. It burns with pain. It feels as if there’s a ten ton elephant stepping on my chest. Except the pain is in my chest and not out. Everything goes black.There’s nothing but the Black Nothing for a while. Am I dead? I thought, Is this what it’s like to be dead? To die? Then I see the tiniest spec of a white light. It slowly grows bigger and bigger, until I’m at a red door. A burgundy tinted red door. i got my dell, windows 7 laptop a little over 2 years ago, its been having this problem since about the 4 month having it. When ever i try to turn it on and get onto my account, the wallpaper and all my personal settings have been reset. An error box comes up at the bottom of my screen saying ive been logged onto the default profile and if i needed to fix it, i need to contact my administrator. Only problem is that is is a personal laptop,,, So that's one problem, another is something to do with my temporary files i think. I was playing Team Fortress 2 and had to quit it when it froze by hard shutting the computer. Now, whenever i turn on my computer, the resolution it used stays (everything on the monitor is huge) and I have to manually change it every time. Six years ago my wife took out a home equity loan. Her credit was scored higher than mine so the loan was issued in her name only. I was required to sign as 'Grantor", which was explained as needed for them to file a lien on our house for her loan.
