Okay i just had an italian A2 exam and the exam board mucked up what do i do?

okay today i had my italian exam....the translation went well, the essay number one went well.....then i had essay number two.....it asked about the demographics of my region. i didnt understand what the word meant in italian.....so i wrote what i thought..........i wrote about tourism...and what attracts tourists to the area......the problem is i now know what it means.....it means to do with immigration....the age of people....death rates and birth rates.....yet i have never studied this in one of my classes.....ever. I complained to my teacher and she acknoledges that she never taught us it....and agreed it was a stupid question.......and said it wasnt in the edexcel specification....now i dont know what to do....i really want to go to uni...but this questions is worth 45 marks out of 100 :'(
